I wanted to dress up two bottles of wine so I made a little box and added bits from my scraps bag and viola a lovely gift - might make a few more of these to dress up the Christmas bottles of wine for the teachers.
My girs are ALWAYS at the doctors, so much so that I have developed a friendship with the girls there and one of the main angels (Maeve!) got married recently and showed me the snaps of her wedding and took out a wedge of photos and tried to flick thru some of the best ones... Well out of my mouth popped the offer to make her a book (time for me is a problem, but I wanted her to have something nice to show her photos off!). So that evening I cut the chipboard while making dinner, I covered the pages before I went out to camera club, and I came home and finished some details on each page when I got home later that night and the next day she dropped over the photos, and I finsihed the book in about 2 hours that afternoon. Quick and simple. I put the photos in with repositionable adhesive so she can add better ones when she gets copies from friends. Now she has a book she can had people to see her lovey day and better than a big wedge of photos falling out of a folder.... (I hope!)
Before the girls had a bath last week I allowed them to paint - Shannon got bored after about 10 mins but Little Miss got really into it and painted and painted and then got bored with the paper so painted herself and her hands... She had fun and I got lovely photos. Pity Shannon did'nt stay longer to enjoy the fun and allow me take some pics of her.
Have a photo shoot tomorrow - with a little boy who is 1 yr old. Wish my new toys had arrived in time to play with them (new lens and softbox). I just photographed the lastest project but have to hold on to it for a while as it's going in the post.
Ta for now - Michelle
